Christine Leadman Hainer
(September 11, 1969 - December 9, 2012)



Christine Leadman Hainer, 43, of Huntington died peacefully December 9, 2012, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House surrounded by her family. Ms. Hainer fought a courageous battle with brain cancer. Christine most recently worked at Cabell Huntington Hospital’s Perinatal Center as a sonographer. She previously worked at medical facilities in Louisville, KY and Logan, WV. She attended Trinity Church of God. Christine was born in Huntington on September 11, 1969. She graduated from Huntington East High School in 1987 and St. Mary‘s School of Radiology in 1989. Christine is survived by her parents Vaughn and Marcia Leadman and her sister, Deanna Holley, all of Huntington, and her brother Larry (Annmarie) Leadman of Silver Spring, Maryland, and two nieces, Frances and Claire, who adored her. Christine was known for her sense of humor and spirit of adventure, her great style, a love of travel and her steadfast and loyal friendships. She will always be affectionately remembered for her beauty, both inside and out. Her family wishes to thank the staffs of the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center who provided support and guidance during her fight and recommends condolences be made through contributions to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Thursday, Chapman’s Mortuary in Huntington followed by burial at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be held 2 hours before the service.
