Frank John Keesee
(December 19, 1925 - December 2, 2012)



Frank John Keesee, 86, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Jessie Lacy and Rev. Ray Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Crook Cemetery, Huntington. He was born December 19,1925, in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Watt and Marie Keesee. His only precious daughter, Johnna Sue Keesee Skeens, and three sisters, Dorothy Tomblin, Mary Francis “Bob” Keesee and Virginia Chatterton also preceded him in death. Frank retired from the Tri-State Transit Authority in 1992 after 31 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran stationed in the Philippines. Frank was a member of the Bowen Ridge Church, and loved spending time reading his Bible. Survivors include his beloved wife of 42 years, Carolyn Sue Nelson Keesee; special son, Keith Hutchinson; special granddaughter, Lexi Marie Hutchinson; son-in-law, Noah Skeens; sister, Norma Ellis; special “little” friend, Aaron Midkiff; numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Frank was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all that knew him. Friends may call from 11:00 am to service time Wednesday at the funeral home. “Earth’s Loss is Heaven’s Gain”.
