Charles F. Perry, Sr., 93, of Huntington, WV, died Thursday July 19, 2012 in the V.A. Medical Center. Memorial funeral service will be conducted 7:00 PM Wednesday July 25, 2012 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Rev. Bill DeMoss officiating. Charles was born August 8, 1918 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Stonewall & Annie Black Perry. He was a retired Watch Maker & a U.S. Army veteran serving during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Gardner Perry. Survivors include one son Charles F. Perry, Jr & wife Donita of Greenup, Ky, one daughter Diane Perry of Tarpon Springs, FL, three grandchildren Jay Copley of Lexington, KY, Heather Hagley of Falling Waters, WV & Kristen Webb of Huntington, one great-granddaughter Caitlyn Hagley. Friends may call after 6:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct military rites. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Rd., Huntington, WV 25702.
