Mark Dana McFann at age 52 went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Mark was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Mark is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean McFann of Kenova WV, his daughter Elizabeth Miller, son-in-law Andrew Miller, grandson Andrew Miller II of Redlands CA, his son Nicholas McFann, daughter-in-law Tiffany McFann, granddaughters Izabella McFann, and Beatrice McFann of Huntington WV, daughters Margaret McFann, and Norma McFann all of Huntington WV, his daughter Victoria McFann, granddaughter Lucille McFann of Barboursville WV, his sister Kimberly Brown, brother-in-law Robert Brown of Huntington WV, his niece Bobbie Brown and her children Aryan, Olivia , and Christian Brown of Huntington WV, his nephew Terry Dale McFann of Huntington WV, and very dear friend Ruth Stevens of Anaheim CA. Mark was born at St Mary's Hospital in Huntington WV to the late Noel and Iris McFann. He was an Army Veteran having served in Korea, he was a nurse for many years, and had a good career in the aerospace industry before he became disabled. Mark dedicated his life, everything he had and all that he was to his family. He held the Lord very high in his heart, and heaven has received him. Mark enjoyed many things, among them: shooting his guns, fishing, riding motorcycles, being on boats, playing his guitar, and spending time with his wife and children. The world is a much better place for having had him here for the 52 years that he was here, and he will be dearly missed. Burial will follow with the WV Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 conducting military graveside rites. Friends may call from 10:30 am to service time Thursday at the cemetery.
