Bertha Faye Henson, 84, of Lesage, WV, died Saturday December 17, 2016 at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday December 21, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Jamie Jefferson officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes, WV. Bertha was born December 21, 1931 in Poca, WV, a daughter of the late William and Pearl Kelly McCormick. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service. She was preceded in death by her husband Jessie Austin Henson, Sr and a son Austin Henson, Jr. Survivors include three grandsons, Nicholas Henson of Hurricane, WV, Christopher Henson of South Point, OH, and Shawn and Amanda Henson of Huntington, two great grandchildren, Brianna and Nikalas Henson of Hurricane, and a great grandson Maddox on the way, a daughter-in-law, Carol Henson of Huntington and a sister, Dorothy and Dale Null of Hurricane. Visitation will be from noon until 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
