Marie Skuller, 97, of Huntington, widow of John Lester and David Skuller, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016, in Madison Park. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, December 29, 2016, at the Ridgelawn Abbey of Devotion with Rev. Jerry Boggs officiating. Entombment will follow. She was born October 4, 1919, in Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Gideon and Effie Deskins Marcum. One son, Jim Lester, and one sister, Irene Maynard also preceded her in death. She was a retired real-estate agent, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Glenna Lester of South Point, OH; one sister, Emogene Harris of Columbus, OH; four grandchildren, William Jay Finley of Huntington, James Robert Lester of Proctorville, OH, Robin Lester of Ocala, FL, and Maria Heuzen of Charlotte, NC; two great-grandchildren, Brian Finley of WA State, and Elizabeth Lester of Proctorville, OH; one great-great-grandchild, Leycia Nichols of Proctorville, OH. Friends may call after 1:30 pm Thursday at the cemetery. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
