Cory Nathan McNeely, 29, of Huntington, went to live with the Lord, after a long hard battle with heart disease, on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was employed by Marshall University Research Corporation (MURC), where he made friends with some sweet caring people. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Juanita Oakes; both his grandmothers, Donna Gayle McNeely and Betty Jo Pickett; an uncle, Daniel Scott Music; and cousin, Christopher Clayborn McNeely. He is survived by both his parents, Larry Joe McNeely and Tamara Jean Pickett; a sister, Kayla Breann McNeely; two uncles, two aunts, and eleven cousins; plus some very special friends that were with him to the very end. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at the Beverly Hills Church of Christ on Thursday January 14, 2016 at 7:00 pm, with Minister Wayne Carter officiating. I
