Obituary
Eleanor June Williamson,
June-bug, or Mawmaw June, departed peacefully on Wednesday, March 29, 2016
at the age of 80. She was greeted in heaven by her parents Robert and Nelly
Sigler; her sister Betty Hughes; her husband Wetzel Williamson; and daughter
Amy Williamson. She leaves behind her son Matthew B. Williamson; her
grandchildren Alex and Sebrena Williamson; her nieces Susan Coyer and Lisa
Welton; her nephews Daniel Sigler, Craig Sigler, and Brad Sigler; sister
Roberta Coyer; and brother Don Sigler. June was born the youngest of
four on December 22, 1935 in Huntington, WV, where she would reside for the
rest of her life. Apart from being a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother,
aunt, grandmother, and friend, she was a faithful member of Guyandotte
Church of Christ and a teletype operator for Inco. During her free time, she
enjoyed vacationing at the beach and spending time with her close friends
and family. The family wishes to thank her caregivers and the staff at
the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice house of Huntington for making her journey
as comfortable and peaceful as possible. Visitation will be Thursday,
March 31st 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and funeral will be 12:00 noon Friday April 1st,
at Chapman's Mortuary, with Minister Robert Huron officiating. Burial will
be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers.
