Obituary



Richard Lee Eplion, Jr., 63, of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Saturday at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Doug Spurlock officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born November 12, 1955 in Huntington a son of the late Richard Lee Eplion, Sr. and Icy Jude Eplion. A daughter, Amber Eplion; a sister, Donna Jean Houck; and two brothers, Phillip Eplion and Rodger Lee Eplion, also preceded him in death. He was a former truck driver and salesman. Survivors include; his wife of 40 years, Gladys Eplion; a daughter, Tracy Graybeal of Proctorville, OH; a son, Kenneth Lee Eplion of Huntington; ten grandchildren, Alexander Richard Eplion, Isabella Eplion, John Tyler Lee Berry, Tierdin Kole Berry, Kaiden Hayton, Trai Hayton, Trinity Eplion, Zackery Ferguson, Alex Graybeal, and Ayden Graybeal; a sister, Patricia Beaman of South Point, OH; and a brother, Danny Eplion of Proctorville. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
