Mitchell Justin Diamond, 41, of Huntington, WV, died Wednesday, February 19, 2020 in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born October 13, 1978 in Huntington, WV. He was a cabinet maker by trade and had worked at Chandler's Kitchens. Mitchell was Baptist by faith. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Angela Kay Melvin and husband Bobby Melvin of Panama City, FL; his father and step-mother, Kenneth Ruel Diamond and wife, Ella Diamond of Proctorville, OH; a sister, Jeana Diamond of Pensacola, FL; maternal grandmother, Ruth Jean Adkins of Huntington; a special aunt, Peggy Mynes of Milton, WV; special cousins, Shane Adkins, Shawn Adkins, Cheryl Ruley, Danielle Moore, Darcie Moore, and Roland Diamond; and a host of family and friends. Graveside memorial service will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Ridgelawn Memorial Park Abbey of Devotion with Pastor Jim Shepherd officiating. Friends may visit after 1:30 pm Sunday at the cemetery. Inurnment will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park.
