Chester Leonard Arnold


Chester Leonard Arnold, 74, of Huntington, WV, loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle, gained his heavenly wings on Thursday November 11, 2021 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted at noon Thursday November 18, 2021 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Tim Arthur officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Chester was born January 27, 1947 in Gill, WV a son of the late Vinson and Opal Adkins Arnold. He was a former employee of Armstrong Industries and the City of Huntington. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Patrick Webster, three brothers, Basil, Billy Joe and James Arnold, one sister Donna Marie Arnold Spurlock. Survivors include daughters, Rebbecca (Robert) Marruquin and Louise Heck all of Toledo, OH and Melissa Arnold (Rick Baker) of Huntington, grandkids, Kristine Williams, Craig Williams, Jennifer Webster and Michael Webster all of Toledo, Owen Arnold, Shane, Hannah and Whitney Baker of Huntington, great grandkids, Avery, Adalyn, Noah, Savannah, Craig Jr and Kayden, one brother, Kenneth (Rose) Arnold of Taylor MI. Chester also leaves behind ex-wives, Frankie Humphreys of Toledo and Connie Dolin Merritt of Huntington and special friend Jennifer Crum of Huntington. He will forever be missed by a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
