Robert Lee Slaughter


Robert Lee Slaughter, 52, of Grayson, KY, formerly of South Point, OH, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022, in King's Daughters Hospital, Ashland, KY. He was born March 18, 1970 in Huntington, WV a son of Debbie Stanley Slaughter and the late Ronald Ray Slaughter. He was an HVAC technician. Survivors include: his wife, Lindsey Staggs Slaughter; his mother, Debbie Stanley Slaughter (Gene Richendollar) of South Point, OH; two daughters, Kimberly Slaughter (Aaron Cron) of Chesapeake, OH and Dorothy Walker of Ironton, OH; a son, Robert Lee Slaughter II (Amy) of Willow Wood, OH; twelve grandchildren, Hunter, Shaylee, Cloie, Zoey, Gabby, Hayden, Deron, Brandon, Cali, Keigan, Aaron, and Mason; a brother, Roger Slaughter (Lisa Patton) of Ashland; a sister, Christi Ackerman (Johnny Ray) of Ironton, OH; a step brother, Ronnie Slaughter of Virginia; his Aunt Carman (Danny) Lynd of South Point, OH; his Uncle Mark Elkins (Deena) of North Carolina; his mother-in-law, Dianna (Eric) Valentine of Wheelersburg, OH; his father-in-law, Patrick (Donna) Staggs of Portsmouth, OH; two brothers-in-law, Eric (Christine) Staggs of Jacksonville, NC and Evan (Kate) Staggs of Clermont, FL; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no services at this time. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
