Obituary
Paul H. (P.J.) Wilson, Jr., 76, of
Lesage, WV, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022, at his residence. He was born
October 25, 1945 in Milton, WV a son of the late Paul Hamilton Wilson and
Mildred McCallister Wilson. He was retired from the former Goodyear (M and G
Polymer); was a member of Pleasant Valley Freewill Baptist Church, Ona, WV;
and was a veteran of the National Guard. Survivors include: his wife,
Carolyn Montcastle Wilson; a son, Sean Wilson of Lesage, WV; a step son,
Charlie (Laurie) Meadows of New Haven, WV; a step daughter, Martha (Donald)
Pike of Apple Grove, WV; four grandsons, Bryce Meadows, Joseph Pratt, Brady
Meadows, and Hunter (Hunter Boy) Pike; a great granddaughter, Serenity
Olivia; a brother, Tom (Faye) Wilson of Ona, WV; a sister, Connie (Charlie)
Taylor of Winter Haven, FL; mother-in-law, Hester Jean Montcastle of Apple
Grove, WV; brother-in-law, Mike (Reta) Montcastle of Gallipolis, OH; two
sisters-in-law, Robin (Tom) Winkler of Catawba, NC and Julia (Stan) Purdy of
Hamlin, WV; and special friends, Trish and Rita Deal of Barboursville, WV.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, April 11, 2022, at
Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Elder Jimmy Perry officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
