Obituary

Christine Elizabeth Chapman
(June 16, 1946 - June 8, 2022)

Christine Elizabeth Chapman, 75, of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington. She was born June 16, 1946 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Ellis and Frances Mirandy McComas. She was also preceded in death by a son, Trent Scott Chapman; and two sisters, Margaret White and Jean McComas. She was a retired executive assistant for Namaco Industries. Survivors include: a daughter, Rachel Chapman Adkins of Milton, WV; two grandchildren, Chrissi Jenkins of Huntington and Tabitha Hardesty of Covington, KY; five great grandchildren; a sister, Lucille Shivel of Huntington; and a brother, David McComas of Hawaii. A memorial service will be conducted 6:00 pm Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Tim Arthur officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
