Joyce Lou Mitchell
(December 13, 1949 - March 31, 2022)

Joyce Lou Mitchell

Joyce Lou Mitchell, 72, of Huntington, died Thursday, March 31, 2022 at her residence. She was born December 13, 1949 in Milton, WV, a daughter of the late Alonzo Forest and Maude Katherine Harshbarger Mitchell. Joyce was also preceded in death by her son, Paul Franklin Byrom, Jr.; and two sisters, Laura June Cox and Janet Blankenship. She worked formally in the Accounting Department at INCO and for Man Power. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Rich Corsi of Hilliard, OH; a grandson, Ian Byrom Corsi of Hilliard, OH; and a brother, James Forest Mitchell of Huntington. Following her wishes she will be cremated and no services will be conducted. Inurnment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
