Cecelia was a joy to be around. She meant so much to everyone who knew her. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, caregiver, cake maker, prayer warrior, nurse, great friend, healer when you were hurting, and very focused if she wanted something done, but always worked for the Lord in all that she did. She loved her family, her church and her church family. She was a long standing member of Baptist Temple and for the church, she was a Sunday school teacher, a cook, a cleaner and for many years anything else the church needed – she did, while she was still able to attend. She missed them so much after she could no longer be there. Her church family was very good to her, they visited her often and never forgot her. She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star Chapter 89 of Guyandotte. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Friday, October 3, 2008 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington.
