Obituary
Charles W. Johnson
Charles W. Johnson, 81, of Huntington, proud father, grandfather, mentor and role model to all, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, December 17, 2009. He was born in Huntington, WV on February, 24, 1928. He was the proud son of William and Ida Johnson, loving brother of Arthur, William, James, Mary and Harlan Johnson. He served his country within the Armed Forces and was employed with International Nickel (INCO) for over 30 years before retiring to Huntington Beach, California. He and his family were founding members of Ebenezer United Methodist Church located in Huntington, WV. In addition to his loving family members, including a wonderful and loving daughter named Shelia K. Johnson, who preceded him to Our Lord. Mr. Johnson is survived by three sons; Charles W. Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Keith A. Johnson of Columbus, OH and Kevin E. Johnson of Huntington Beach, CA as well as numerous loving in-laws, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many special friends, without whom his life would not have been forever enriched. The care and service of Mr. Johnson has been entrusted to Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington.
