Merrell Davis Bradshaw
(August 20, 1917 - May 6, 2009)

Merrell Davis Bradshaw, 91, of Huntington passed away, Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be 2 pm Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington with Rev. Leroy Fulford officiating. Merrell was born August 20, 1917 in Wayne County, West Virginia a daughter of the Late Leo and Polly Keck Davis. She brought a smile to the face of each customer she served at Mister Donut, and many called her friend. She was preceded in death by a son, Jesse Darrell Bradshaw and three brothers, Curtis, Cazzie and Virgil Davis. She is survived by two sons, Delbert Bradshaw of Salem, VA and Virgil Bradshaw of Huntington; two daughters Violet J. Clonch and Jean Wilson-Withrow both of Huntington; two brothers Ransom and Waitman Davis; one sister, Ola Penson-Baker of CT; 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Visitation will be two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
