Avis June Jenkins Blevins, 80, of Huntington, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Service will be 1 PM, Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Avis was born September 26, 1930 in Cabell County, WV a daughter of the late Alfred and Gladys Jenkins. She was a member of Rock of Ages Church, Guyandotte. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert Blevins; two children, Terry (Brenda) Blevins of Barboursville and Patricia (Gene) Journell of Huntington; three grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Beulah, Helen and Elaine. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
