Pearl Lee Harper
(March 31, 1936 - December 21, 2010)

Pearl Lee (Whitsett) Harper, 74, of Huntington WV passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Huntington Health and Rehab. She was born March 31, 1936 in Marion, Alabama, a daughter of the late Andrew and Bessie Holifield Winsett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Stanley Harper Sr.; and a daughter, Teresa Harper. She was a caretaker and was also a member of the Glorious Church of God in Christ. She is survived by five children, Dorothy (Claude) Rinehardt, Stanley (Angie) Harper Jr., Marie Harper, Joseph Harper, and Darlene (Stevie) Griffin. She is also survived by three brothers, Henry Whitsett, James Whitsett, and Arthur Whitsett; three sisters, Willa Cook, Annie Wilson, and Jane Goodgame; 14 Grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 12:00 noon at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Terry officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
