Dana Edalene Stevens

Dana Edalene Stevens, 71, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at King’s Daughters Hospital, Ashland, KY. Funeral service will be 11:30 am Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington with Rev. John Stevens and Rev. Tom Ross officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Dana was born September 26, 1938 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Edward Sullivan and the late Hazel Katherine McCloud. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bennie Stevens. She is survived by one son, David “Debbie” Blanton; six daughters, Robin “Beverly” Blanton, Bambi Sullivan Craft, Angie “Keith” Hileman, Missy ”Kenny” Decker, Becky “Albert” McCloud, Shellie “Bob” Yapp; one brother, Buddy “Louise” Sullivan; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; special companion, her dog Sassy Marie; and special friends, Debbie and Eva. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
