Blanche Cyfers
(November 10, 1929 - October 22, 2011)

Blanche Cyfers, 81 of Huntington passed away peacefully near dawn on October 22, 2011. She faced death as she lived her life, with courage and grace. Funeral services will be held 1pm, Tuesday, October 25, 2011 a Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington, with Pastor Jeff Lycans officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Logan, WV. Blanche joins her parents, Lura Justice Cyfers and Melvin Cyfers and two of her siblings, Faye Etta Cyfers and Jack Cyfers. She is survived by two sisters, Alta Jo Cyfers Flowers of Man, WV and Alpha Cyfers Walker of Salem, VA. Blanche was a graduate of Man High School, Class of 1947. She resided in and loved Huntington for over 60 years. She was employed by Houdaille-Hershey and the City of Huntington. In her leisure Blanche enjoyed entering and winning, contests and sweepstakes. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be on hour prior to service time at the funeral Home. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements of Ms. Cyfers.
