James Stuart Byrd
(March 11, 1927 - April 25, 2012)

James Stuart Byrd 85 of Huntington, widower of Pearl Byrd. Died Wednesday, April 25, 2012 in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was retired from the City of Huntington after 30 years of service. He leaves to cherish his memories: his children; Tonetta M. Scott, Francine Pierson, James S. Byrd, Jr., and Linda Jean Byrd Deering. 9 grandchildren: Sheneka Karlene Scott, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of his life will be 3:00PM Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Community room of Rotary Gardens Apartments. There will be no visitation.
