La'Niya Amer Jennings
La'Niya Amer Jennings, 16 months old of Huntington, WV, went on to glory and peace January, 13, 2012 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 23rd at 1:00pm at Young Chapel A.M.E. Church 836 18th Street, Huntington, WV with Rev. ReLoy F. Gainey, Sr officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. La'Niya Amer Jennings was born on September 7, 2010 in Huntington, WV and was a beloved daughter of Jasmine Jennings. Although La'Niya's life was cut short, her soft and gentle gaze as she looked into your eyes or her infectious smile won the hearts of everyone she came in contact with. God has reclaimed his angel back to his arms but left us with the essence of baby La'Niya's personality embedded in out hearts forever. La'Niya Amer Jennings is preceded in death by her great-aunt Vivian (James) Hairston and her great uncle Melvin Jennings. She is survived by her mother Jasmine Jennings of Huntington, WV; aunts: Kaneeshea Cobb (David) of Columbus, Ohio, Mari Kathryn Dotson of Huntington, WV and two uncles Christopher Jennings of Phoenix, AZ, and Gordon James Jr. of Burbank, CA; grandparents: Gordon James (Ora) of Huntington, WV, Velorisia Jennings of Baltimore, MD and paternal great-grandfather Adrian James (Pearl) of Columbus, Ohio, maternal great-grandmother Janet Hensley (Larry) of Gilbert, AZ, and a host of other family members and dear friends.
