Elmer Jackson Ray
(August 20, 1959 - October 22, 2012)

Elmer Jackson Ray, 53 of Huntington passed away October 22, 2012 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. He was born August 20, 1959 a son of the Theresa Ray- Miller, and the Late Robert Glen Ray. Elmer had retired as a truck driver for Ray Trucking. In addition to his mother he is survived by two sons; Robert J. Ray (Christy) of Huntington, and Nickolas L. Ray of Wayne County, two sisters; Lynn (Russ) Ray of Canton, OH, Lora L. and Ed Miller of Huntington, and one brother, Jeff Ray of Kenova, and one grand-daughter, Hanna Tharpe. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00pm Friday October 26, 2012 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Parson, and Rev. Jim Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Belcher Family Cemetery (Louisa, KY). Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home (924 20th Street Huntington, WV 25703) to assist with the funeral expenses.
