John Edward Hawkins

John E Hawkins, Jr. 76 of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born September 9, 1936 in Huntington, W.Va. son of late John E Hawkins Sr and Bertha Carter Liggins. Retired from Lakeshore Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Proceeding him in death sister Robbie Alice Brown Motley, Niece Valerie L Brown, Great Niece Teesa Brown and Great Great Nephew Antwan Grant. He leaves behind sister Imogene Scott of Huntington ,W.Va. Also surviving five nieces Tonetta Scott, Eva, Lisa and Tina Motley of Huntington, W.Va., and Necia Brown of Wheeling, WV.; three nephews, Tony, Keith and Robbie Brown of Huntington, W.Va.; Great nieces and nephews Sheneka Scott, Robbie Allison Motley, Alphonso, Clyde, Derek, Katie and Rhisa Brown and Tisha M Jordan of Ashland, KY; Great Great nieces and nephews, La Kiah (Ki Ki) Smith, Thomas White Jr., Jeanise Graves, Cieasha, Serenity, Marquese, Martines, Shakiya and Donja Brown, Chantee and Miranda Jordan of Ashland, KY, other relatives, special friends and companion Tip Tip. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
