Geneva Murrell Horton
(March 15, 1913 - October 12, 2013)

Geneva Murrell Horton, 100 of Huntington, WV. Went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. She was born March 15, 1913 a daughter of the late Robert L. and Pearl Warren Murrell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ned Horton, two brothers, six sisters and two children John Jainer and Ruth Walker. Geneva enjoyed going to the mall, riding the bus, and talking with people. She and her husband loved to travel they went on cruises and would spend months at a time in Clear Water, FL. She brought much love into people's lives and had a very pleasant smile. She and her husband had a janitorial Service until his death. She also enjoyed going out to eat at Golden Corral. She leaves to cherish her memory two special nieces Linda Murrell, Columbus, Ohio and Brenda (Al) Moore, Temple Hills, MD., and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church with The Reverend Roy E. Terry, officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from Noon until the time of service at the church.
