Gretchen Redmond 97 of Huntington, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio. Widow of Tony Redmond, went to her Eternal Home to be with the Lord she loved talking about Saturday July 26, 2014 at her residence. She was born February 6, 1917 in Glade Springs, Virginia. A daughter of the Late George and Callie Lewis Wright. She was a homemaker and domestic worker. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by six siblings. Ira wright, James wright, Rosebud Hill, Selma Mason, Velma Wright and Carlee Sheffield. Survivors include nephews; Otis Sheffield and Richard Sheffield both of Huntington, West Virginia. Nieces; Wanda Sheffield Lawson and Vickie Burdine Jackson of Virginia. Great Nephews: Frank Grayson, Lynn Grayson of Atlanta, Georgia. George Hill, Jr., David Hill and Reverend Reginald Hill, Bobby Dotson, and Tony Dotson all of Huntington, west Virginia. Darrell Dotson of Snailville, Georgia. Great nieces: Teresa Dotson Jemison and Jammie Dotson of Brooklyn, New York. And a host of Great Great Nephews and nieces.
