Jay Scott See
(August 9, 1959 - August 1, 2015)

Jay Scott See, 55, formerly of Williamstown, WV passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his Huntington home on August 1, 2015. He was a 1977 graduate of Williamstown High School and had been employed by Alcon Research Labs in Huntington for the past 10 years. He had previously been employed by Fenton Art Glass and Pilgrim Glass. Jay had a dry wit only few could appreciate and enjoyed caving, spelunking, Old Timer’s Reunion/The Robertson Association, antique bicycles, antique barber chairs and big band era, John Prine and Frank Sinatra music. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard (Dick) See of Williamstown. Survivors include his mother, Melanie See of Williamstown; Daughters Megan See (Janelle Bartimus) of Columbus, Shauna (Jon) Hearing of Cambridge and Astin See (Kenny Rogers) of Marietta; 5 grandchildren, sisters; Robin (Paul) Duke of Williamstown, Laura (Rich) Green of Arizona and Kate (Jeff) Kephart of Marietta and step-mother Cathi Cummins of Williamstown. Per his wishes, there will be no services at this time.
