Zelda Marie Tate
(June 25, 1947 - May 3, 2016)

Zelda Marie Tate, 68, of Huntington, WV was called home to Glory on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in Washington D.C. She was born June 25, 1947. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Williams, Sr. and Vivian Murphy-Williams; her loving husband of 47 years, Willie Overton Tate, Jr.; one granddaughter, Jessica Robinson; three brothers, Jerome, Edward, Jr. and Leonard Williams & one son in-law Wayne Wright. She leaves to cherish in her sweet, loving, memories; four daughters, Darlene Robinson (Gregory), Marcy Tate-Wright of Manassas, VA, Bessie and Heather Tate of Huntington; grandchildren, Derrick Carter, Erica & Patrick Robinson, Joshua & Jaibron Wright and Kharma Tate. Also surviving are six sisters, Francis Warren, Sylvia Henderson, Edith Washington, Joyce Robinson, Lovetta Starks and Odessa Williams; five brothers, Danny Williams (Rose), Leboyd Williams, Sr. (Willma), Lloyd Williams (Takita), James Williams and Ronald Lee Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held 11:00A.M., Monday, May 16, 2016 at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Centerville, VA. There will also be a viewing to follow at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home in Huntington, WV from 5:00-7:00, Tuesday, May 17, 2016 with burial to follow the next day at 10:00A.M., May 18, 2016 at Spring Hill Cemetery.
