Nathaniel Tucker Ward
(July 19, 1958 - December 28, 2017)

Nathaniel “Pastor Nate” Tucker Ward, 59 of Huntington, WV was called home on Thursday, December 28, 2017.  He was born on July 19, 1958 in Bluefield, WV.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Ward and Marie (Tucker) Ward; one daughter, Tiffany Brewer; and one son, Joe Simmons.  Nathaniel was the Pastor of Spirit of The Lord UHC, Huntington and also a huge advocate in the Huntington community – he will be greatly missed by many!  He leaves behind to mourn his loss; his loving wife of 28 years, Teresa (Scarberry) Ward; daughters, Marie Patterson and Samantha Vance; sons, Eric Simmons and Calvin Okonkwo; 10 grandchildren: Alexis, Ameila, Walajia, Walter III, Mayshun, Cheyenne, Trayvon, Azaria, Jayden and Kylen.  Also, surviving is his special brother, Jeff Hairston; special friend, Kristi Wilson; a host of many brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.  Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 5, 2018 at Full Gospel Assembly with Bishop Anthony Tucker and Rev. Jeff Hairston, officiating.  Family will welcome friends one hour prior to services.  Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington.
