   67, of Huntington West Virginia lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Loretta was born on October 16th, 1952 in Mississippi to the late Mattie Louis Wright. Loretta attended Huntington High School and loved attending church at the Apostolic Life Cathedrial Church of Huntington, West Virginia.She was a homemaker that loved her church, kids and grand babies very much. She was preceded in death by her husband: Richard Meeks; son: Richie Gibbs, daughter:Melissa Gibbs, great-grandson:Malikah McPhearson; mother-in-law:Virginia Ewing; three sisters:Ruthann Milhorn, Amy Wright, and Mary Gibbs.
 
She leaves to cherish her memory, son:Todd Gibbs (Tina Sloan), daughter: Monica Gibbs(Virgil Richardson), sister-in-law: Donna Meeks (Jeffrey Daniels), stepson:John Brown,
 
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Marlea McPhearson, Kayln Gibbs, Joshua Gibbs, Hallie Gibbs, Angelina Gibbs, Michael Gibbs, Kayla Gibbs (Don Parsons), Shaquila Barnes, Virgil Richardson Jr. , Richard Gibbs, Patience Longham, Izaya New, step-grandchildren: Ashley Sloan, Tiffany Sloan, Douglas Earl Sparks, Austin Sparks, Tevo Stanley, Charisma Perdue and Skylar Brown.
 
She is also survived by great-grand children: Keyavontae Gibbs, Kaveion Gibbs, Andrew Dourch, Andrew Kole Scarberry, Mycheal Devon Gibbs, Mackenzie Gibbs, Addison Gibbs, Miguel Angel Terviveo, Colby Spears, Remi Miller, Jaylon Jeffreys, Jaxon Chafin, O'Mari Gibbs, Laveah Gibbs and Navayah Nakapaahu.
 
She is also survived by her four brothers:  Earl Gibbs, Daniel Gibbs, Robert Gibbs, Jerry Wright , two sisters: Brenda Wright, Belinda Wright along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends as to Loretta was loved by many. 
 
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
