Jeanne Marie Thompson, 91, of Huntington, WV went to her Heavenly Home on August 10, 2021. She was born on November 17, 1929 in Huntington to parents, Rethas Duckworth and Edna Mae (Smith) Duckworth. She is preceded in death by one son, Wesley Eugene Speakes; and two siblings, Rush Duckworth and Retra Mae Duckworth. Jean was a Surgical Tech for many years at St. Mary’s Medical Center and the VA Medical Center. She leaves behind to cherish her memory; children Arthur Speakes (Jeanne), Dianna Johnson, Donna Martin, Charlene Thompson and Kathy Thompson. Also, surviving is her special grandson, Michael Johnson and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Monday, August 16, 2021 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens with Rev. Reginald Hill, officiating.
