Lorie Jean Gibbons

Born March 10th 1967. Fell asleep in death July 9th 2021 at the age of 54.

She was born in Webster Massachusetts, but later lived in Zephyrhills Florida with her family for 38 years, until they moved to the Huntington West Virginia Area in 2014.

Lorie was preceded in death by her loving stepfather Floyd Randall Vallance.

She is survived by her mother Carol Arlene Vallance. Her sisters: Kelly McArthur, Kristie Goff, and Georgia Padgett. And a brother, Dylan Vallance.

Lorie has always been described as a loving and happy person. She always wanted to talk to others and give hugs. Her laugh was contagious, and you could not help but smile and laugh with her. One of her favorite things was going to Christian meetings at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She could often be found happily flipping through her Bible

Her loss is grieved by so many family members and friends. They look forward to seeing her again in the near future when “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4

A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 24th at 1pm.
