Robert Lynn Dameron
67, of Huntington, WV, passed away at a family member's home in Ashland, KY on June 12, 2021. He was born August 16, 1953 in Louisa, KY, the son of the late Robert Atlas Damron and Marguerite Finley Damron. Robert was an antique dealer and generally could be found at antique shows and estate sales across the region. He was a friend to all who met him and never failed to show others how much he cared for them. He never met a stranger and in his boisterous way, he had an uncanny ability to let others know exactly what was on his mind. He was a devoted son to his beloved mother, "Miss Marguerite," and was the light of her life as well. Robert left behind a host of mourning family and friends, including a special cousin, Sherry Arbaugh of Ashland, KY, and close friends, Matthew Kincaid Dameron, of Ansted, WV, and Daniel Faber of Charleston, WV. Robert enjoyed his loved ones more than anything and delighted in family dinners with his uncles, aunts, and cousins. One of his last messages to a cousin described how he was looking forward to the next gathering. His loss is grieved by so many and all of his family know that they will never again have a fruit salad quite like Robert's specialty. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A graveside service will be scheduled at a later date.
