ObituaryTHOMAS H. SNIDER, 78, of Milton, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2004, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2004, at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Barboursville, with Dr. T.J. DuBose officiating. He was born August 31, 1925, in Milton, W.Va., a son of the late Virgil L. and Pauline Perry Snider. Mr. Snider served in the United States Coast Guard during the Okinawa Invasion. He is survived by one sister, Hilda Snider Cain and her husband James of Milton; one niece, Sharon "Bootie" Lambert and her husband Robert E. of Milton; two great-nieces, Lisa Beckett and her husband John of Ona and Cathy Conrad and her husband Lee of Milton; great-great nephews, McKinley Robert Conrad and Sawyer Lambert Beckett; great-great niece, Savannah Paige Beckett; two aunts, Bessie Heck and Helen Smith, both of Milton; and three special friends, Tommy Harbor, Joe Webster and Paul McCallister. There will be no visitation. The family would like to thank Morris Memorial Nursing Home and St. Mary's Hospital for taking such good care of him. Heck Funeral Home, Milton is in charge of arrangements.
