Obituary

CLARA MARIE DAVIS GIBSON, 95 of Hurricane went home to be with her Lord Monday, November 22, 2004, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Kim Stone and Rev. James Jobe officiating. Burial will follow in Ball Cemetery. She was born June 3, 1909, a daughter of the late Rodrick and Viola Cochran Davis. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Cline Gibson; two sons and one daughter. She is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Wilma Bird of Hurricane, Faye Cobb and her husband Don of Huntington and Maxine Bowen of Huntington; three sons and daughter-in-laws, Glen Gibson and special daughter-in-law Betty of Hurricane, Carroll Gibson and wife Kay of Milton and Lester "Doug" Gibson and Debbie Thomas of St. Albans; 20 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren; a host of friends and a special friend, Michelle Lacy from Hospice of Dunbar.
