Obituary

DONALD LEO JORDAN, 67, of Ona went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, November 23, 2004, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2004, at Freedom Baptist Church, Milton with Rev. Kim Stone and Rev. James Jobe officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Donald was born October 31, 1937, a son of the late Harry and Emma Scarberry Jordan. He retired after 40 years of services with the United States Postal Service and spent his last several years' working with the Pressley Ridge Schools, Ona. Donald was a devoted member of Freedom Baptist Church, Milton. Donald is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Stewart Jordan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Tim Hysell, and Lori and Chuck Wellman, all of Milton; five grandchildren that were the love of his life, Justin Hysell, Madison Hysell, Jordan Hancock, Kara Hancock and Dylan "Opie" Wellman; one brother, Grover Jordan of Milton; five sisters, Joyce Parsons of Milton, Geraldine Webb of Lesage, Lillian Stowasser of Hurricane, Faye Wilson of Milton and Janie Hannah of Worthington, Ky. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
