Obituary

DEBRA ANN McDONIE JOHNSON, 51, of Nunica, Mich., passed away Sunday, April 10, 2005, at a local hospital. She was born September 5, 1953, to Royce and the late Emma Erwin McDonie of Milton. Deb was also preceded in death by her brother, Michael K. McDonie. Deb is survived by her husband, Robert H. Johnson; son and daughter-in-law, Michael P. and Cassie McDonie of Grand Haven, Mich.; two grandchildren, Keira and Killean, her father and second mom, Royce and Pat McDonie of Milton; her mother-in-law, Thelma Johnson of Hurricane, W.Va.; two brothers, Mark and Jon McDonie both of Milton. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Spring Lake, Mich. Visitation will be held at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, on Thursday, April 14, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice, Huntington City Mission or the Gideons.
