Obituary

VIRGINIA I. ROACH, 81, of Lesage went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 18, 2005, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2005 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. Ray Knapp and the Rev. Fred Kitchen officiating. Burial will follow in Caldwell Cemetery, Lesage. She was born March 4, 1923, in Cabell County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Edgar and Donna Scarberry Pinkerman. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Bobby Joe and Randy Eugene Roach and one sister, Vada Benedict. She was a member of the Barboursville Apostolic Church. She is survived by her husband, Carl Roach; one son, Carl Roach Jr. and his wife Sharon; two sisters, Faye Long of Barboursville and Katie Kenney of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Alva Pinkerman of Lesage and Delano Pinkerman of Chiser, Ohio; and four grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home.
