Obituary

BERTHA L. HESSON, 83, of Glenwood, W.Va., passed away Sunday, June 26, 2005, after a short illness. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Max Spurlock officiating. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery. She was born October 21, 1921, in Cabell County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late George and Myrtle Pittman Bailey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles O. Hesson; one son, Ronnie E. Hesson; three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Max and Ethel Hesson of Glenwood and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home.
