Obituary

CORA JEAN CULVER CHATTERTON, 81, of Milton, formerly of Newark, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 21, 2006, in St. Mary's Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2006, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 701 Linville Road, Newark, Ohio. She was born Jan. 29, 1925, in Zanesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Granville A. and Nellie V. (Mason) Culver. She was also preceded in death by her son, Terrence Lee "Terry" Chatterton; three brothers, Paul, Jim, and Dick Culver; one sister, Aileen Sprecher. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria J. Adkins of Barboursville; one sister, Dorothy Gaskella of Martinsburg, Ohio; one brother, Douglas Culver of Newark, Ohio; two grandchildren and their spouses, Paul and Monica Adkins and Elizabeth and James Wilkinson; three great-grandchildren, Alex and Sawyer Adkins and Ryan Wilkinson; special caregiver, Boyce T. Adkins. Cora was a graduate from Newark High School and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Newark.
