Obituary

David M. Scarberry, 64, of Ona went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, October 27, 2006 with his family by his side.  Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2006 at Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Meadows officiating.  Burial will follow in Barker Ridge Cemetery.  David was a faithful member of Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church.  He was born April 3, 1942 a son of the late Ira and Bertha Blake Scarberry.  He is also preceded in death by four brothers, Dalvin, Thurman, Nelson and Hobert; one sister, Eloise Bell.  He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Marilyn Chapman Scarberry; two sons, Dwayne of Culloden and Kevin of Milton; two daughters, Daphne of Ona and Angela and Tim McCallister of Barboursville; three grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Dalton McCallister, Kasey McCallister and Haley Scarberry; two sisters, Carol Davis of Ona and Colleen Scarberry of Lesage; three brothers, Ira Jr. of Lesage, Truman of Milton and Ray of Ona; mother and father-in-law, Myrtle and Emzy Chapman of Milton and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton and also one hour prior at the church on Monday.
