Obituary
Floyd Franklin
Scarberry, 76, of Culloden, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday,
August 5, 2007 at his residence, with his wife and daughter by his bedside.
Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Wednesday, August 8, 2007
at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Wendell Shull officiating.
Burial will follow in
Forest
Memorial Park,
Milton. He
was born September 19, 1930 in Cabell Co., WV a son of the late Elva Leland
and Wilda Marie Scarberry. He was a former security
guard for Sam Massey Security and worked for Columbia Paint.
He was a member of
Cooper
Independent
Church.
Floyd was a genuine personality with a sense of humor and a kind
heart. He will be sadly missed by all those he leaves
behind. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years,
Lucy Scarberry; daughter, Kimberly Scarberry of Culloden; two sisters, Sally
Wood of Huntington and Ruth Davis of Milton; special niece and nephew,
Rickey and Vickie Setliff who helped Floyd during his illness; four special
children whom he thought of as his grandchildren, Seth, Emmie, Ryan, and
David. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday,
August 7, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
