Obituary

Oma Imogene Rolfe, 93, of Barboursville passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at her residence.  Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Friday, November 23, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Winford Curry officiating.  Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery.  Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.  She was born April 28, 1914 a daughter of the late Albert and Nora Morrison Keenan.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Rolfe in 1992; daughter, Claudia Rolfe; four brothers, Froud, Everett, Oza, and Sylvan Keenan; two sisters, Frances Elkins and Wanita Weatherholt; and her grandson, Rodney Carter.  Oma was a long standing member of Susannah Baptist Church in Ona, WV.  She is survived by two daughters, Helen Carter and husband, Gene of Barboursville, Jeanie Groves of Cleveland, OH; one son, William “Buddy” Rolfe of Ona; four sisters, Ethel Venoy of Huntington, Wanda Lewis of Milton, Eloise Smith of Salt Rock, Marilyn Collins of Milton; two brothers, Dana Keenan of Milton and Darrell Keenan of Salt Rock; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.  A special thanks to Hospice of Huntington for the care they have given to Oma.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday, November 22, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
