Obituary

Anyse “Sid” Cooper Conrad, 94, of Milton, W.Va. went to be with her friend Jesus Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Hospice House of Huntington.  Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Reverend Chelcie Gibson officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.  She retired from teaching in the Mason County School system.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening and making apple butter.  She was a member of the order of Eastern Star in Milton Lodge 149.  She was member of the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church on Mason Road.  Anyse was born September 5, 1913 a daughter of the late Albert and Rosie Jenkins Cooper.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Vinson Conrad; her son, Wylie Conrad; her grandson, Kraig Conrad; six brothers and two sisters.  She is survived by two sons and three daughters-in-law, Byron and Myrna Conrad, Dwight and Sharolyn Conrad and Linda Conrad; grandchildren, Kama Garrity, Kesha Holley, Devin, David, Kelly and Erick (Tara) Conrad; great grandchildren, Logan and Lakyn Conrad, Chaston and Kierra Holley.  Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.  In lieu of flowers family wishes donations be made to the Hospice House of Huntington.
