Obituary

Donna Mae Sowards, 50, of Milton, passed away Monday, July 14, 2008 in St. Mary’s Medical Center.  Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Don Reynolds officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.  She was born July 23, 1957 in Cabell Co., WV a daughter of the late Glen and Louise Porter Fetty.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Tommy Lee.  She was a former employee of Best-Western.  She is survived by her husband, Delbert Sowards; two daughters, Christina Dawn Sowards and Patricia Lynn Sowards both of Milton; brother, Bill (Kristi) Fetty of Milton; five sisters, Deloris (Kelvin) Cremeans, Glenna “Tootsie” and Mike Hatfield, Gladys Johnson, Rose and Delmar Stanley all of Milton, and Sylvia and Mike Ropoza of Savannah, GA; half-sister, Linda Harless; half-brother, Steven Fetty; special niece, Jamie Lee (Joey) Waugh; great nephew, Joshua Waugh; a host of nieces and nephews.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Heck Funeral Home.
