Thelma Earnestine Southall Perry, 87, of Lesage, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, December 5, 2010 in St. Mary’s Medical Center with her daughters by her side. Funeral service will be conducted NOON, Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Jerry Ryder officiating. Burial will follow in Bicker Cemetery. She was born July 13, 1923, a daughter of the late Virgil and Eliza Easter Southall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Kelson “Bill” Perry; nine siblings; special son-in-law, Buddy McCallister. She was a homemaker and attended Z Warner United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Anita Louise “NeeWee” Eves, with whom she made her home in Lesage; Ethel McCallister Elkins and her husband, David of Huntington; special son-in-law, Thomas Eves, Sr.; brother, Jesse Southall of Lesage; three grandchildren, Charles (Wanda) McCallister, Stacy Eves, and T.L (Connie) Eves; three special great granddaughters, Courtney Eves, Alma McCallister, and Jessica Eves; host of nieces and nephews; many great friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the St. Mary’s nursing staff, 5th floor, Neurology Dept. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the charity of one’s choice. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
