Obituary
BEULAH MAYE FREEMAN NOWLIN, 84, of Ona, W,Va. on March 21, 2010 took her beloved Homer's hand and went to meet her Lord. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2010, at Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church, Ona with Pastor Paul Meadows and Rev. Ray Scarberry officiating. Burial will follow in Arthur Cemetery. She was born October 31, 1925, in Cabell County, W.Va., a daughter of the late James and Rachel Schultz Freeman. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 43-1/2 years, Homer Nowlin, who passed away on January 18, 1989 ,and a baby son, Homer Jock on October 30, 1960; two sisters, Iva Stevens and Audrey Nowlin; four brothers, Ralph, Morton, Willard, and Glenn Freeman. She was a faithful member of Beulah Ann Baptist Church since 1946. She was a homemaker and raised on a farm on Rush Hollow Road in Ona. She is survived by her children, Linda (Albert) Lucas, Sheila (Roger) Castle, Lana Seale, Nina Nowlin, Jeffory Nowlin, and Jennifer (Robert) Davis; six loving grandchildren, Stacey Welch, Dain (Laura) Seale, Bradshaw Davis, Adam Lucas, Rachel Davis and Amanda (Eric) Poff; three precious great-grandsons, Seth, Alex and Lance Ellis Welch; two precious great-granddaughters, Logan Maye Seale and Norah Poff. She also leaves behind two very special friends, Gladys Hagley and Becky Childers. Friends may call on Thursday, March 25, 2010, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
