Judith Karen Hicks, 69, of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Pete Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born October 25, 1941 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late John Thomas and Ada Carter Osborne. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jack Osborne. She was a former nurse’s aide at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bane and Alicia Hicks of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Gary and Juanita Osborne of Salem, WV; three grandchildren, Jason and Chelsie Hicks and Lauren Bennett; great grandson, James Hicks; sister-in-law, Linda Osborne of Culloden, WV; nephews, Kevin and Pam Osborne, Todd Osborne; niece, Erin Osborne; great nephew, Nicholas Osborne. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kim Rice for being there for our mom and for us. Visitation will be Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
